The Yamaha Thailand Racing team secured the country's first ever win at the Suzuka 4 Hours in Japan yesterday. The trio of Anuparp Samul, Peerapong Boonlert and Prawat Yanwut were crowned champions at the famous Suzuka Circuit after the four-hour, 83-lap race. They beat Japanese teams and AP Honda Racing Thailand who finished fourth. Nieto won 13 world titles in a career lasting from 1964 to 1986, but for superstitious reasons refers to his total as '12 plus one'.
